BRINGING A
ZERO EMISSIONS FUTURE TO
LOS ANGELES
Los Angeles Aerial Rapid Transit (LA ART) is a proposal for a zero emissions aerial gondola system to connect Los Angeles Union Station, Chinatown, and Dodger Stadium in 7 minutes. LA ART is a project of Zero Emissions Transit, a supporting non-profit of Climate Resolve.
Get There
By Air
0 EMISSIONS | 1 MILE DISTANCE | 7 MINUTE RIDE | 365 DAYS PER YEAR | 3000 CARS OFF THE ROAD (ON GAME DAYS) |
Less Pollution.
Less Traffic.
Less Headache.
Zero Emissions
The gondola system would run on electricity and produce zero emissions.
That’s a win for the climate and community.
Traffic Be Gone
LA ART will take 3,000 cars off the roads on game days and boost public transportation ridership all the other days of the year.
Accessible & Affordable
The gondola will be free to ride for anyone attending a game at Dodger Stadium. And those who live and work in the area can ride for the price of a Metro fare.
Connecting Communities
Operating 365 days a year, LA ART will serve the communities of El Pueblo, Chinatown, Mission Junction, Solano Canyon and William Meade Homes and access to green spaces like Los Angeles State Historic Park and Elysian Park.
A Dodger Stadium Connection
A seven minute ride that connects LA County’s main transit hub, Union Station, to the city’s largest event center, Dodger Stadium.
