LA ART offers the capacity to move approximately 5,500 people per hour per direction using a quiet, safe, environmentally friendly, and proven zero-emission technology. LA ART has the potential to connect El Pueblo, Union Station, Chinatown, Mission Junction, and Solano Canyon, while also providing access to the Los Angeles State Historic Park, the Los Angeles River, and Elysian Park.
LA ART proposes to serve all Dodger home games and events at Dodger Stadium, and is also anticipated to operate daily to serve community members, park visitors, and visitors to Los Angeles. The proposed route can provide visitor experience in and of itself, offering panoramic views of Los Angeles, Los Angeles State Historic Park, and iconic Dodger Stadium.
LA ART will operate daily to connect communities of El Pueblo, Chinatown, Mission Junction, Solano Canyon and William Meade Homes to Union Station and create a pedestrian link between the Chinatown L Line (Gold) station and Los Angeles State Historic Park.
The project will expand transit access to parks by providing a transit connection to Elysian Park through the Dodger Stadium Property and a proposed intermediate station at Los Angeles State Historic Park.
LA ART will support new proposed pedestrian/bicycle bridge connecting Los Angeles State Historic Park with communities of North Broadway to create access for the local community.

LA ART will improve traffic and parking for residents by potentially removing up to 3,000 car trips from neighborhood streets, easing local traffic and reducing the need to park in the local community.
LA ART’s capacity to take cars off the roads before and after each Dodger game or event at Dodger Stadium will ease congestion and improve safety on neighborhood streets and the SR-110 freeway.
LA ART will provide improved community streetscape and pedestrian improvements along the proposed alignment.
